Type locality: Blockley, near Cheltenham, Great Britain; shell lenses in clay matrix, Davoei Zone, early Pliensbachian, Early Jurassic.

Paratypes: GZG.INV.78711 and GZG.INV.78712.

Etymology: named after Leonora Martín-Medrano
