Type locality: Jumara, Kachchh, India; sample 119, upper Chari Formation, Callovian, Middle Jurassic.

Paratypes: GZG.INV.78729, GZG.INV.78730 and GZG.INV.78731.

Etymology: named after Franz Theodor Fürsich
