Name

Melitaea cinxia aversa Churkin & Kolesnichenko, 2002

Type locality: Kirghizstan, Tian-Shan, Susamyrtoo mts., Aram-Su river valley, 35 km SE of Alabel pass, 2500 - 2700 m.

Holotype: DSM. male ♂. genitalia slide GIK no. 12870. 17-18.VI.2001. leg. S. Churkin.
