Fossil range: Middle Jurassic; Callovian.

Holotype: GZG.INV.78741.

Type locality: Bauer-Wehrland, Germany; glacial erratic boulders, Callovian, Middle Jurassic.

Paratypes: GZG.INV.78742; GZG.INV.78743; and GZG.INV.78744.

Etymology: from the Latin beneficum (charitable).
