  • Species inquirenda according to André (1985: 193)
  • Probably not a Triophtydeus as Ewing (1911: 38) refers to lateral eyes.
  • Listed as "ancient species" by Kaźmierski (1998: 357)
  • Association of Tydeidae with scale insects is described by Jeppson et al. (1975, chapter 11).
  • The species is reported by Andersson (2013: 21, 25).
