Vanessa dimorphica dimorphica (Howarth, 1966).
Type locality: Uganda, Ruwenzori range, Namwamba Valley, 6,500 ft.
Holotype: BMNH. male ♂. XII.1934–I.1935. leg. T.H.E. Jackson.
