Name

Holotype: NHRS, ♂, Mars 1910, E. Mjöberg.
Type locality: AUSTRALIA: Queensland, Cedar Creek.
Etymology: The specific name is derived from the Latin “gemellus”, meaning twin, and is used to denote the similarity of this species to X. acutipennis.
