  1. Armenian full stop or period, used to indicate the end of a sentence. Called վերջակետ (verǰaket) in Armenian.
    Ես սիրում եմ ձմերուկ։ ― Es sirum em jmeruk. ― I like watermelon.
    Մարտինն ախտաբան է։ ― Martinn axtaban ē. ― Martin is a pathologist.

Usage notes

Because this symbol looks like the colon (":") available on most keyboards, it is virtually always replaced by the latter.
