Etymology 2
Borrowed from Aramaic זִיקָא / ܙܺܝܩܳܐ (zīqā, “gust”), from Akkadian 𒍣𒄿𒄣 (/zîqu, zīqīqu/, “breeze, blast of air; storm, wind; ghost”), where also 𒄑𒍣𒋡 (/zâqu/, “to blow”).
