(compare Sanskrit शुक्र (śukra, “bright, resplendent”), Parthian 𐫘𐫇𐫟𐫡 (swxr /suxr/, “red”), Ossetian сырх (syrx, “red”) and Avestan 𐬯𐬎𐬑𐬭𐬀 (suxra))
