How to Get a Bucket of Milk in RuneScape

Milk is used in a wide variety of recipes in RuneScape. It is also used for feeding cats. For members, milk can be turned into cheese, butter, or cream. Here is how to get a bucket of milk in RuneScape.

Steps

Get an empty bucket. Buckets can be found at any general store or in the basement of the Lumbridge kitchen.

Walk or teleport to Lumbridge. Go to the cow field a little north of the Al Kharid shortcut entrance. You can also go to any of the locations listed in the "Tips" section.

Find and click on a dairy cow. Dairy cows will be dark brown and white in color, while regular cows are light brown and white milk cows will have bells around their necks.

Get a bucket of milk. Your character will kneel down while milking the cow and the empty bucket in your inventory will be filled.

Dairy cows can be found in Yanille, Lumbridge, Draynor Village, Zanaris, Sinclair Mansion, Hemenster Farm, Crafting Guild, Rellekka, and the farm south of Falador. The milk tutor, Gillie Groats, can be found in Lumbridge's cow field.
