This wikiHow teaches you how to tag a Reddit user in a new post using the Reddit app for Android.
Steps

1Open the Reddit app on your Android. It’s the orange icon with a white robot head inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer.

2Tap the new post icon. It’s the circle with a + at its center.
- If you want to tag the other user in a comment instead of a new post, go to the post, then create a new comment.

3Tap Post Some Text.

4Select the subreddit where you want the post to appear.

5Type a post title. This title is how your post will appear in the subreddit.

6Type u/username into the body of the post. Replace “username” with the username of the Redditor you want to mention. The “u” must be lowercase.

7Type the rest of your post. If you don’t want to add additional text, you can skip this step.

8Tap POST. Your new post now appears in the selected subreddit with the user mentioned.
