Aqajan, Lorestan
Aqajan (Persian: اقاجان, also Romanized as Āqājān; also known as Āqājānī)[3] is a village in Rumeshkan Rural District of the Central District of Rumeshkan County, Lorestan province, Iran. It lies 1.2 kilometres (0.7 mi) south-west of the town of Chaqabol.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,358 in 467 households, when it was in the former Rumeshkan-e Sharqi Rural District of the former Rumeshkan District, Kuhdasht County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,444 people in 582 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,364 people in 644 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Rumeshkan County. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
