Suri, Lorestan
Suri (Persian: سوري), formerly Vali-ye Asr (ولي عصر), also Romanized as Valī-ye ‘Aşr; also known as Sūrī, Qātarch, and Qāţerchī,[3] is a village in Suri Rural District of Suri District, Rumeshkan County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,717 in 827 households, when it was in the former Rumeshkan-e Gharbi Rural District of the former Rumeshkan District, Kuhdasht County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,853 people in 258 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,832 people in 1,109 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Rumeshkan County. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
