Azan, Isfahan

Azan (Persian: ازان, also Romanized as Āzān and Azān)[3] is a village in Vandadeh Rural District of Meymeh District, Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County, Isfahan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,578 in 731 households, when it was in Meymeh District of the former Borkhar and Meymeh County).[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,966 people in 917 households,[5] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,102 people in 1,014 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
