Lay Bid
Lay Bid (Persian: لاي بيد, also Romanized as Lāy Bīd and Lāibid; also known as Lāybīd Bālā, Lāybīd-e Bālā, Lāy Bīd-e Pā’īn, Layé Bīd, Layé Bid, Lāy-e Bīd Bālā, and Lāy-e Bīd-e Pā’īn)[3] is a city in Meymeh District of Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,986 in 510 households, when it was a village in Zarkan Rural District of Meymeh District in the former Borkhar and Meymeh County).[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,473 people in 424 households,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County, and the village of Lay Bid had been elevated to the status of a city.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,832 people in 571 households.[2]
