Murcheh Khvort
Murcheh Khvort (Persian: مورچهخورت, also Romanized as Mūrcheh Khort and Mūrcheh Khvort; also known as Morcha-Khūrt, Morcheh Khort, Murcheh Khort, Mūrcheh Khort, Mūrcheh Khūr, and Mūrcheh Khūrd)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Murcheh Khvort Rural District of the Central District of Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County, Isfahan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,523 in 431 households, when it was in the Central District of the former Borkhar and Meymeh County).[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,355 people in 383 households,[5] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Shahin Shahr and Meymeh County.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,369 people in 394 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
The Battle of Murche-Khort took place here, and was a part of Nader Shah's campaign to restore the Safavid dynasty.
