Bala Mahalleh-ye Gafsheh

Bala Mahalleh-ye Gafsheh (Persian: بالامحله گفشه, also Romanized as Bālā Maḩalleh-ye Gafsheh; also known as Bālā Gafsheh)[3] is a village in Gafsheh-ye Lasht-e Nesha Rural District of Lasht-e Nesha District, Rasht County, Gilan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,771 in 500 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,558 people in 536 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,533 people in 508 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
