Belharat District

Belharat District (Persian: بخش بلهرات) is in Miyan Jolgeh County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Golbui-ye Pain.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as Belharat Rural District of the former Miyan Jolgeh District of Nishapur County) was 11,677 in 3,037 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 11,896 people in 3,576 households.[6] At the latest census in 2016, there were 12,074 inhabitants in 3,756 households.[2]

In February 2023, Miyan Jolgeh District was separated from Nishapur County to establish Miyan Jolgeh County. The existing Eshqabad and Ghazali Rural Districts, and the city of Eshqabad were made a part of the new Central District. Belharat District was established, with two rural districts, including the newly formed Salari Rural District.[3]
