Belharat Rural District

Belharat Rural District (Persian: دهستان بلهرات) is in Belharat District of Miyan Jolgeh County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Rigi.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Miyan Jolgeh District of Nishapur County) was 11,677 in 3,037 households.[5] There were 11,896 inhabitants in 3,576 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 12,074 in 3,756 households. The largest of its 59 villages was Rigi, with 1,658 people.[2]

In February 2023, Miyan Jolgeh District was separated from Nishapur County to establish Miyan Jolgeh County. The existing Eshqabad and Ghazali Rural Districts, and the city of Eshqabad were made a part of the new Central District. Belharat District was established, with two rural districts, including the newly formed Salari Rural District.[3]
