Zalaqi District

Zalaqi District (Persian: بخش ذلقي), formerly Besharat District (بخش بشارت), is in Aligudarz County, Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Titkan.[3]

Not to be confused with Zalaqi-ye Gharbi Rural District or Zalaqi-ye Sharqi Rural District.

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as Besharat District) was 9,907 in 1,673 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 9,703 people in 1,783 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 8,346 inhabitants in 1,988 households.[2]

After the census, the name of the district was changed to Zalaqi District.[3]
