Birk-e Sharqi Rural District

Birk-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان بیرک شرقی) is in Birk District of Mehrestan County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Chad-e Bala,[2] whose population at the National census of 2016 was 522 people in 117 households.[3]

Prior to its formation after the census, its constituent villages were a part of Birk Rural District in the former Zaboli District of Saravan County. By the census of 2011, they were in the newly formed Zaboli County (renamed Mehrestan County).[4][5]
