Central District (Mehrestan County)
The Central District of Mehrestan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان مهرستان) is in Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Mehrestan.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, the region's population (as Zaboli District of Saravan County) was 31,679 in 6,872 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 44,972 people in 10,541 households,[5] by which time the district had been separated from the county to establish Zaboli County (since named Mehrestan County).[6] At the latest census in 2016, there were 54,630 inhabitants in 13,478 households.[2]
