Central District (Dalgan County)

The Central District of Dalgan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان دَلگان) is in Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Galmurti.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, the region's population (as a part of the former Dalgan District of Iranshahr County) was 29,775 in 5,641 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 38,741 people in 8,347 households, by which time the district had separated from the county to establish Dalgan County.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the Central District had 42,362 inhabitants in 10,468 households.[2]
