Chah-e Ahmad

Chah-e Ahmad (Persian: چاه احمد is a village in, and the capital of, Chah-e Ahmad Rural District of Nazil District, Taftan County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 238 people in 62 households, when it was in Nazil Rural District of the former Nukabad District of Khash County.[2] The following census in 2011 counted 267 people in 62 households.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 377 people in 103 households.[5]

In 2018, Nukabad District was separated from Khash County, elevated to the status of Taftan County, and divided into three districts, with the city of Nukabad as its only city and capital of the new county. Nazil Rural District was elevated to the status of a district and divided into two rural districts.[3]
