Chaleh Pareh

Chaleh Pareh (Persian: چاله پره, also Romanized as Chāleh Pareh; also known as Chal Pareh)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Zalaqi-ye Sharqi Rural District of Zalaqi District (formerly Besharat District), Aligudarz County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 306 in 53 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 420 people in 88 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 424 people in 94 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]

After the census, the name of the district was changed to Zalaqi District.[7]
