Darkas (Persian: دركس; also known as Dargas and Dargaz)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Darkas Rural District of Bahu Kalat District, Dashtiari County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,159 in 459 households, when it was in Bahu Kalat Rural District of the former Dashtiari District of Chabahar County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,863 people in 386 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,959 people in 882 households; it was the largest village in Bahu Kalat Rural District.[2]

In 2018, Dashtiari District was elevated to the status of a county and divided into the Central and Bahu Kalat Districts, with four rural districts and the city of Negur as its capital.[4]
