Gowhar Kuh Rural District
Gowhar Kuh Rural District (Persian: دهستان گوهركوه)[3] is in Gowhar Kuh District of Taftan County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Gowhar Shahr-e Chah-e Darkhati.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Nukabad District of Khash County) was 9,100 in 1,887 households.[5] There were 8,383 inhabitants in 2,048 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 10,078 in 3,024 households. The largest of its 195 villages was Shirabad, with 751 people.[2]
In 2018, Nukabad District was separated from Khash County, elevated to the status of Taftan County, and divided into three districts, with the city of Nukabad as its only city and capital of the new county. Gowharkuh Rural District was elevated to the status of a district and divided into two rural districts.[4]
