Jahanabad, Borujerd

Jahanabad (Persian: جهان اباد, also Romanized as Jahānābād)[3] is a village in Hemmatabad Rural District of the Central District of Borujerd County, Lorestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 4,115 in 979 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,837 people in 1,046 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,581 people in 1,337 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
