Central District (Borujerd County)
The Central District of Borujerd County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان بروجرد) is in Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Borujerd.

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 285,179 in 73,528 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 304,153 people in 89,479 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 293,464 inhabitants in 91,778 households.[2]
After the census, Shirvan Rural District separated from the district, was renamed Shirvan-e Sharqi Rural District, and along with the newly created Shirvan-e Gharbi Rural District established Shirvan District.[5]
