Central District (Sirvan County)

The Central District of Sirvan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان سیروان) is in Ilam province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Lumar.

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as a part of the former Shirvan District of Chardavol County) was 8,925 in 1,867 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 7,815 people in 1,962 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 7,152 inhabitants in 2,031 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Sirvan County.[2]
