Kapneh Karan

Kapneh Karan (Persian: كپنه كران, also Romanized as Kapneh Karān; also known as Kapneh Garān and Rostam Khān)[3] is a village in Kalan Rural District of Zarneh District, Eyvan County, Ilam province, Iran. The village is populated by Kurds.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 663 in 121 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 625 people in 137 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 558 people in 138 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
