Karvan District (Zarabad County)
Karvan District (Persian: بخش کاروان) is in Zarabad County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Suru.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as Zarabad-e Gharbi Rural District of the former Zarabad District of Konarak County) was 8,997 in 1,998 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 8,614 people in 2,161 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 8,983 inhabitants in 2,407 households.[2]
After the census, the district was separated from the county to establish Zarabad County, two districts and four rural districts were formed, and the city of Zarabad was made the new county's capital. Zarabad-e Gharbi was elevated to the status of a district.[3]
