Kuhak-e Esfandak Rural District

Kuhak-e Esfandak Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوهك اسفندك) was an administrative division of Bam Pasht District of Saravan County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital was the village of Esfandak[3] (now a city).[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 9,267 in 1,989 households.[5] There were 11,633 inhabitants in 2,596 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 12,880 in 3,089 households. The largest of its 57 villages was Kuhak, with 3,201 people.[2]

After the census, the rural district was separated from Bam Pasht District, elevated to the status of Mehregan District, and divided into two rural districts.[7]
