Ladiz District

Ladiz District (Persian: بخش لادیز) is in Mirjaveh County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Ladiz-e Sofla.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as a part of the former Mirjaveh District of Zahedan County) was 32,306 in 6,131 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 29,752 people in 7,250 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 22,960 inhabitants in 6,471 households,[2] by which time the district had been separated from the county to establish Mirjaveh County and divided into three districts, with the city of Mirjaveh as its capital.[3]
