Tamin

Tamin (Persian: تمين, also Romanized as Tamīn and Temīn; also known as Tamīn-e Pā’īn)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Tamin Rural District of Ladiz District, Mirjaveh County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 457 in 81 households, when it was in the former Mirjaveh District of Zahedan County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,023 people in 301 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 762 people in 226 households,[2] by which time the district had been separated from the county to establish Mirjaveh County and divided into three districts, with the city of Mirjaveh as its capital.[4] It was the largest village in its rural district.
