Makaki, Iran
Makaki (Persian: ماککی, also Romanized as Mākakī)[1] is a village in Dust Mohammad Rural District, in the Central District of Hirmand County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 74, in 19 families.[2]

2023 clashes
Border clashes took place on the Afghanistan-Iran border in May 2023, during which Makaki came under attack by Taliban forces, though the attack was repelled.[3]
