Central District (Hirmand County)
The Central District of Hirmand County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان هیرمند) is in Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Dust Mohammad.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population was (as a part of the former Hirmand District of Zabol County) 58,082 in 11,603 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 50,927 people in 11,615 households,[5] by which time Hirmand District had been separated from Zabol County to form Hirmand County. It was then divided into the Central and Qorqori Districts.[3] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 50,787 inhabitants in 13,067 households.[2]
