Jahan Tigh, Hirmand

Jahan Tigh (Persian: جهانتيغ, also Romanized as Jahān Tīgh and Jahāntīgh)[3] is a village in Margan Rural District of the Central District of Hirmand County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 826 in 172 households, when it was in the former Hirmand District of Zabol County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 634 people in 144 households.[5] By the time of the census, Hirmand District had been separated from Zabol County to form Hirmand County. It was then divided into the Central and Qorqori Districts.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 798 people in 175 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
