Mazayjan Rural District

Mazayjan Rural District (Persian: دهستان مزايجان)[3] is in Mazayjan District of Bavanat County, Fars province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Mazayjan.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was (as a part of the Central District) 5,440 in 1,460 households.[4] There were 5,251 inhabitants in 1,577 households at the following census of 2011, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Mazayjan District.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,985 in 941 households. The largest of its 52 villages was Badbar, with 844 people.[2]
