Mongasht Rural District
Mongasht Rural District (Persian: دهستان منگشت) is in the Central District of Bagh-e Malek County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Abu ol Abbas.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 10,274 in 1,932 households.[3] There were 10,920 inhabitants in 2,446 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 9,980 in 2,418 households. The largest of its 22 villages was Abu ol Abbas, with 1,690 people.[2]
