Najafabad, Bijar

Najafabad (Persian: نجف آباد, also Romanized as Najafābād and Najfābād)[3] is a village in Najafabad Rural District of the Central District of Bijar County, Kurdistan province, Iran. The village is populated by Kurds.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 477 in 110 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 557 people in 145 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 419 people in 119 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
