On 12 October 2023, Israel raided Jenin in the West Bank, detaining a single Hamas fighter and injuring others.[1][2] On 14 October 2023, Israel launched an invasion of the city, killing multiple people.[3][4][5] On 22 October 2023, Israeli military forces bombed a mosque in Jenin, killing at least two more Palestinians.[6]
