History
Philpott Central State School opened on 6 August 1913. It closed circa 1948.[3] It was on a 4-acre (1.6 ha) site off Shallcross Road (25.5883°S 151.3727°E).[4][5]
In the 2016 census, Philpott had a population of 41 people.[1]
