Qaleh Hamam Rural District

Qaleh Hamam Rural District (Persian: دهستان قلعه حمام) is in the Central District of Salehabad County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[3]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Salehabad District of Torbat-e Jam County) was 7,687 in 1,668 households.[4] There were 8,404 inhabitants in 2,110 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,477 in 2,253 households. The largest of its 18 villages was Bani Tak, with 1,740 people.[2]

After the census, Salehabad District was separated from Torbat-e Jam County, and elevated to the status of Salehabad County. Jannatabad Rural District was separated from the new Central District to form Jannatabad District, containing the newly established Ostay Rural District.[3]
