Qaleh Tall District

Qaleh Tall District (Persian: بخش قلعه تل) is in Bagh-e Malek County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Qaleh Tall.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as Qaleh Tall Rural District and the city of Qaleh Tall of the Central District) was 17,007 in 3,394 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 18,121 people in 4,153 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 18,280 inhabitants in 4,642 households.[2]

In April 2023, the rural district and city were separated from the district, elevated to the status of Qaleh Tall District and divided into two rural districts, with the city of Qaleh Tall as its capital.[3]
