Quchan Atiq Rural District
Quchan Atiq Rural District (Persian: دهستان قوچان عتيق) is in Quchan Atiq District of Quchan County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[3]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 24,559 in 6,137 households.[4] There were 23,226 inhabitants in 6,663 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 21,037 in 6,521 households. The largest of its 48 villages was Shahr-e Kohneh (now a city),[6] with 3,320 people.[2]
After the census, two rural districts of the Central District were separated from the district.[7] Quchan Atiq Rural District became Quchan Atiq District and shares the district with the newly established Yazdan Rural District.[3]
