Yazdanabad-e Sofla

Yazdanabad-e Sofla (Persian: يزدان اباد سفلي, also Romanized as Yazdānābād-e Soflá; also known as Yazdānābād-e Pā’īn)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Yazdan Rural District of Quchan Atiq District, Quchan County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 979 in 240 households, when it was in Quchan Atiq Rural District of the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 877 people in 276 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 802 people in 269 households.[2]

After the census, two rural districts of the Central District were separated from the district.[7] Quchan Atiq Rural District became Quchan Atiq District and shares the district with the newly established Yazdan Rural District.[4]
