Saki Minami

Saki Minami (Japanese: 南早紀 born 18 November 1995) is a Japanese rugby union player. She plays prop for the Japan women's national rugby union team.[1][2]

Career

Minami studied at Nippon University. She played for Yokogawa Musashino Artemi-Stars.

Minami competed at the 2015 Women's Asian Three Nations.[3] She also competed at the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup in Ireland.[4][5]

In 2019, she captained the Japanese side in a two test series against Australia.[6] In 2022, she also captained the Japanese squad at the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.[7][8][9]
