Sangar Rural District (Rasht County)

Sangar Rural District (Persian: دهستان سنگر)[3] is in Sangar District of Rasht County, Gilan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 16,808 in 4,706 households.[4] There were 15,513 inhabitants in 4,997 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 14,475 in 4,842 households. The largest of its 16 villages was Vishka Nanak, with 1,965 people.[2]
